This comm will be closing by the end of the week. LJ is removing their Scrapbook and replacing it with a different program which I will not use.

I will be removing all images I have stored in ScrapBook, this will cause ALL links to my graphics to break.

If I come up with an alternative, that I'm willing to use, I will try to restore the links. I know about Photobucket, ImageShack and TinyPic and I do not like the idea of using any of them. However, I may have to use photobucket if I can't find another option I can live with.

I'm sorry to have to do this, but I won't support another pointless change from LJ. Especially one they won't even deign to post in English. The only Official announcement from LJ of this planned change, which will happen next week, is an announcement in Russian on the Russian News page.

I'm in the process of trying to find another solution. While I am going to find another place to host my graphics, for the moment I will leave everything up in LJ's scrapbook and see what happens after the merge. If the links break, I will remove everything and try to start over.

This is sadmaking as I love seeing the things you make, but I understand completely.

I am in the process of trying to find an alternative. At the moment I'm trying Photobucket, but I have some reservations about that site. Although If I can get all of my graphics on there without running out of storage space or bandwidth, then I may stick with the site for now.

I have to come up with something. I know I won't be able to keep from making graphics for long.

What do you feel about flickr? I have other friends who use it to post to LJ.

I tried Flicker, but they would only let me upload 200 images without upgrading to a paid account. I have almost 3,000 and that's just my icons, not including wallpapers and other graphics.
